
Complementing the local school syllabus, our Primary School Enrichment Classes give budding learners an edge in their language acquisition by pursuing tougher phonetic training and a comprehensive understanding of English grammar and its application. Exam guides and papers are furnished to help equip children with knowledge to tackle their holistic assessments and bi-annual examinations.
Lesson Overview for Primary 1 & 2:
- Advanced phonetic training to master reading and spelling of a wider variety of words
- Encourage the use of dictionary in expanding vocabulary pool
- Introduction of grammar rules that complements the local syllabus e.g. collective nouns/ adjectives/ subject-verb agreement
- Application of grammar rules in meaningful worksheets, comprehension & composition
- Convey thoughts into writing via various topics e.g. description of experience, reflection, story-telling, picture-writing
- Use of art & craft for expression/representation of ideas and thoughts needed for writing
- Appreciate language via a carefully selected fiction/non-fiction books
